- Support Project Managers in managing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, field teams, owners, architects, and engineers to support successful project delivery.
- Assist with managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
- Track project progress, deliverables, and outstanding items to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Assist with reviewing subcontractor and supplier invoices, commitments, and project costs.
- Support project forecasting, financial reporting, and budget tracking.
- Help monitor compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Assist with identifying project risks, resolving issues, and implementing solutions in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Maintain organized and accurate project files and documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Support the Project Manager and field team with day-to-day project coordination and administration.
- Experience in commercial construction, preferably in an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
- Federal construction experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project management principles.
- Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers, project documentation, and client communications.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong desire to grow into a Project Manager role and take on increasing responsibility.
