Construction Helper / General Laborer / Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking support staff to help with our construction and special projects work.

This is a hands-on position for someone who has some construction, maintenance, handyman, or general labor experience and is comfortable jumping in wherever help is needed. You will work alongside an experienced construction professional and assist with a variety of projects, tasks, and day-to-day needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general construction and project-related work
• Help with various hands-on tasks as directed
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, equipment, and other items
• Assist with repairs, maintenance, installations, and general property work
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Help with preparation, cleanup, organization, and other jobsite needs
• Assist with moving, assembling, removing, or installing items as needed
• Pick up materials, supplies, or equipment when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work alongside and support the lead construction team member
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned based on project needs

What We're Looking For

• Some construction, handyman, maintenance, remodeling, or general labor experience preferred
• Basic familiarity with tools and construction materials
• Dependable and punctual
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
• Able to work independently when appropriate
• Good common sense and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable performing physical work and lifting/moving materials
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

We're looking for someone who is dependable, practical, hardworking, and willing to get their hands dirty.

You don't need to be an expert in every area of construction. We're looking for someone with basic construction knowledge and a willingness to learn who can provide reliable support to our construction team. The work will vary based on current projects and business needs, so flexibility is important.

Hours will vary based on project and business needs. Additional hours may be available depending on workload.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
