Costa & Associates is a boutique, growing family law firm in Miami Lakes seeking a high-level paralegal who can independently manage the day-to-day progression of cases from start to finish under attorney supervision.
This role is best suited for someone who:

Responsibilities -
What You’ll Do
- Manage the day-to-day progression of a caseload of Florida family law matters under attorney
supervision (divorce, paternity, support, modifications, enforcement)
- Track and ensure all deadlines, filings, disclosures, and hearings are met
- Draft and finalize pleadings, motions, parenting plans, and settlement agreements for attorney
review
- Analyze and reconcile financial documents (bank statements, tax returns, paystubs, etc.) against
financial affidavits
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and courts as appropriate
- Maintain highly organized, complete, and court-ready files
- Anticipate needs, identify issues, and proactively keep matters moving forward
Work Environment
- Full-time, in-person role in Miami Lakes
- Monday–Friday: Typical working schedule

Qualifications -
What You Bring
- Proven experience handling Florida family law cases with a high level of independence
- Strong knowledge of Florida family law procedures, filings, and court systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work with minimal oversight while maintaining strong communication with attorneys
- Professional judgment, initiative, and follow-through
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 (based on experience and capability)
- Performance Bonuses: Based on effectiveness, organization, and overall contribution
- Paid Time Off: After 120 days
- 8 paid firm holidays
- 8 paid vacation days annually, with partial availability during the first year & an additional day added
yearly thereafter
