What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Family Law Paralegal position at Costa & Associates?
Must have real Florida family-law experience managing divorce and paternity cases, start to finish. An organized, growing firm in Miami Lakes seeks a team member with precision and ownership of their work.
If you’ve only assisted on family-law cases, this isn’t for you. We’re hiring a professional who’s managed cases from start to finish.
We’re Growing – and We Need the Real Thing.
Costa & Associates, P.A., a boutique, fast-growing family-law firm in Miami Lakes, is looking for a seasoned, detail-driven Family Law Paralegal who takes ownership of their work and their cases.
We don’t need someone to assist. We need someone who already runs cases, who can open a file, instantly see what’s missing, and move it forward without having to ask the same questions on every file. The right person is meticulous to the core, takes pride in flawless work, and understands that precision protects clients and helps attorneys be effective and efficient.
We’re organized, steadily expanding, and investing in systems that match our standards, but we need the right professional now to help us get there.
If you’re still learning or have only supported someone else’s caseload, this is not your role!!!
What You’ll Find Here
- A firm that expects and respects paralegals as true case managers, not legal assistants or paper pushers
- Autonomy and trust to do the job right and with compassion
- A clear structure and commitment to continued improvement
- Full-time, in-person (Miami Lakes office) position
- Monday–Friday, daytime schedule, no weekends
- Paid time off and long-term stability as we continue to grow, with bonus structures designed to reward initiative, ownership, and performance that exceeds the normal expectations of the role
The Right Fit
If you’re the paralegal who keeps everything running, if you're the one attorneys rely on and clients trust, and you want to work where your precision and ownership of your work are valued, we’d like to meet you.
To be considered, send a statement of confirmation that you have read the entire post and you are qualified, your resume in support of your statement of confirmation, and a brief note describing the family-law cases that you have independently managed.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
