Role Description
This full-time, on-site role based in Miami Lakes, FL, seeks a Legal Secretary Receptionist to manage administrative and clerical duties. Responsibilities include greeting clients, answering phones, handling receptionist tasks, managing schedules, intake and consult scheduling and assisting attorneys with legal document preparation. The position also requires maintaining office organization, ensuring files are up to date, and managing correspondence. You will interact closely with clients and legal staff to ensure smooth operations within the firm.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of law and legal practices, and ability to assist with legal document preparation
- Proficient communication skills and phone etiquette to engage effectively with clients, attorneys, and colleagues
- Experience in handling receptionist duties, managing schedules, and organizing office operations
- Administrative and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and support office workflows
- Proficiency in standard office software and tools
- Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Previous experience in a legal or customer-facing role is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal or administrative certifications are a plus
