Packaging Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Mechanic I to support the operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Assist with equipment changeovers
• Follow cGMP, safety, housekeeping, and environmental regulations
• Report mechanical breakdowns and safety hazards
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and job ownership
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of experience in packaging equipment maintenance or related machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and EHS regulations
• Ability to read diagrams, gauges, and technical documentation
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move for up to 8 hours
• Frequently lift/move items over 50 lbs
• Ability to wear PPE as required
  
  

Pay Rates by Shift

• 1st Shift: $27.00/hr
• 2nd Shift: $29.50/hr
• 3rd Shift: $32.00/hr
