Customer Service Representative

Growing Pipe & Valve supplier is looking for an experienced Inside Sales /Customer Service Individual for their Branchburg, NJ location. MUST obtain previous Customer Service/Account management skills and experience. Call Center experience is a plus as well. Perform the professional duties relating to sales, including order entry, preparing invoices for customers, and building relationships with customers. Identify and fulfill sales opportunities. This role is part of our inside sales team. JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY:

• Provide sales quotes and offer information to customers (via phone, FAX and email); including price, quantity, shipping location and schedules, certifications, product uses, credit terms, etc.
• Research and select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs and product specifications. Offer additional and/or alternative products and or solutions to customer for purchase.
• Source products that are not available from inventory.
• Enter quotes and sales orders into Sales system.
• Follow-up on sales orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Send catalogs to current and prospective customers.
• Research and resolve discrepancies and problems for customers.
• Promote, cross sell, up sell our product suite to our clients Product Knowledge:
• Research product and decipher part numbers.
• Communicate technical information related to product.
• Continually develop and increase product knowledge. Knowledge of Inventory, Warehouse Management Systems, Email Correspondence, Solid Follow Up Expertise Extremely Detail Oriented and able to multi-task as needed. Resume Followed by Interview Monday-Friday: 8:00AM-5:00PM, some overtime as well $25-30 Hourly, depending upon experience level
