Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic scans according to physician orders and protocols.
- Prepare and position patients accurately to ensure clear and precise imaging results while maintaining their comfort and safety.
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient data, and equipment maintenance logs in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to review images and provide necessary clinical support.
- Assist in the calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Educate patients and families regarding the CT imaging process and answer any queries to alleviate concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a degree or certificate program in Radiology.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or required to obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Active ARRT and TMB License.
- Preferred experience in CT/X-Ray technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to operate complex imaging machinery and perform routine quality assurance checks independently.
- Capacity to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient care.
