SUPERMARKET ACCOUNT MANAGER

You know what a perfectly set Boar’s Head case looks like. You know what it takes to
build one. Now own the whole territory.

Dutchess Provisions is an authorized Boar’s Head licensed purveyor that has served the
Hudson Valley for over 40 years. We’re hiring an Account Manager to take full ownership of
our supermarket deli program across multiple store locations. This is not a merchandising
job with a fancy title — you will own the relationships, the numbers, the execution, and the
results.

What You Own

• Every supermarket deli relationship in your territory — store managers,

deli managers, and their teams • All Boar’s Head programs, new item launches, promotions,
and seasonal campaigns • Order management, execution scores, and comp sales
performance by store • Training — you train both our team and store deli associates on
product knowledge and standards • Shrink reduction — better ordering, smarter rotation,
coordinating with our sampling team to move product • Sampling event coordination —
making sure events happen, they’re in the right stores, and they drive results • SOPs — you
build them, you enforce them, you improve them • Weekly performance reporting to
ownership

Your Week
4 days in stores. 1 day in the office for analysis, planning, and reporting.
You’re in the field building relationships, checking execution, pulling orders, training
staff, and making sure every case in every store looks like it should.

What You Bring

• Experience in deli management, foodservice sales, grocery account

management, or merchandising • You can train a deli clerk and hold a conversation with a
store manager in the same visit • You’re organized enough to manage multiple locations
without anyone holding your hand • You can read a sales report and know exactly which
store needs attention • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle • Boar’s Head
experience is a major plus but not required

Pay

• $22–$24/hr — Strong deli/retail background, ready to learn account management
• $24–$26/hr — Account management or field sales experience in food/grocery (sweet spot)
• $26–$28/hr — Proven supermarket account manager, Boar’s Head or competitor
