What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Director / Sr. Tax Manager / Manager – International position at Corsair?
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Manage outside providers with the preparation of foreign corporate income tax returns, workpapers.
- Review, and analyze international income tax provision components in accordance with ASC 740, including complex international tax regimes such as GILTI, Subpart F, and FDII
- Cooperate with Accounting department to ensure proper recording of tax related journal entries and to help facilitate monthly book closures.
- Oversee the review of global transfer pricing documentation and Country‑by‑Country (CbC) reporting, coordinating with external service providers to ensure compliance with OECD guidelines, local statutory requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Prepare intercompany agreements and work with external auditors to ensure global transactions are at arm’s-length standards.
- Support OECD Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) compliance, including data collection processes, and quarterly and annual Pillar Two tax calculations in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors
- Assist in tax planning and analysis for M&A transactions, including acquisitions, internal reorganizations, and business combinations
- Assist with foreign corporate governance regulatory requirements and filings.
- Develop and maintain tax policies, documentation, and controls to support SOX and internal governance requirements.
- Oversee the company’s internal controls and regularly assess the appropriateness of controls in place.
- Assist the companies Head of Tax with the company’s tax audit defense strategy, managing examinations conducted by the IRS, state taxing authorities, and foreign tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, JD, and/or MST
- 8 years of international tax experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax, including FDDEI (FDII legacy), FTC, Subpart F, GILTI/NCTI, and BEAT.
- Hands-on ASC 740 international tax provision experience.
- Experience with OECD Pillar Two / Global Minimum Tax and transfer pricing highly desirable.
- Experience using AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to enhance productivity, analysis, and documentation.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Annual Salary Range $180,000—$240,000 USD
