You’ll play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, providing key insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring they are accurate, reliable, and in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Analyze cost structures and profitability, assisting in decision-making related to pricing models, vendor negotiations, and operational improvements.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, track variances, and provide actionable recommendations for cost management and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes, improving efficiency and supporting continuous growth.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis and prepare ad-hoc reports for leadership as needed.
- Support the implementation of new financial systems and software, working closely with IT and other departments to ensure a smooth transition and improved financial reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share financial insights and ensure smooth communication across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience, at least 1-2 years within the manufacturing industry.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with cost accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
