Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network components and operations including troubleshooting, directing network staff with installations and projects, defining, documenting, and enforcing network and security standards and best practices to ensure users operate with minimal interruption
• Provide detailed network designs and implementation plans, techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including future capacity requirements
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, Access Points)
• Conduct testing of network systems and new solutions
• Provide vision, leadership and authority to motivate others in pursuit of company goals and core values
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; schedule upgrades; collaborate with network architects on network optimization
• Utilize monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software, and hardware equipment to troubleshoot and isolate problems, assess network performance, and trace data and protocol activity
• Responsible for customer-related technology support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with ERP systems
• Experience working with network devices, network management, VOIP, security management, and wireless network services
• Strong knowledge of IP network including VLANs, firewalls, switches and various other IT equipment
• Ability to communicate with members at all levels of the organization and articulate technical concepts in non-technical terms
