Overview
We’re partnering with a growing financial services organization to hire a Senior .NET Architect. This is a high-impact opportunity to help build and shape the IT function from the ground up.
You’ll play a key role in defining technical strategy, designing scalable systems, and developing enterprise-grade applications—all while working closely with a small, collaborative team.
What You’ll Do
- Define and implement application architecture and technical strategy
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-level software solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks within system architecture
- Establish and enforce development standards and best practices
- Create reusable components to improve efficiency and scalability
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, retrospectives)
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8 years of software development experience
- Strong background building enterprise applications
Technical Skills:
- C#, .NET stack
- Windows Services & WinForms
- OAuth / Identity Server
- Entity Framework
- SQL Server & SSRS
Additional Experience:
- Document generation/management solutions
- Establishing coding standards and best practices
- Communicating complex technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in legal, mortgage, or financial services industries
- Agile environment experience
- Azure DevOps
