OT Security Engineer

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced OT Security Engineer to support cybersecurity initiatives across industrial and operational technology environments. This role focuses on enhancing asset visibility, monitoring, and security controls across SCADA systems, PLCs, and related infrastructure.
This is a hands-on opportunity at the intersection of OT and cybersecurity operations, involving platform deployment, threat detection, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure and support SCADA systems, PLCs, and OT environments
- Analyze industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, BACnet, and OPC
- Assist with IT/OT network segmentation and architecture improvements
- Deploy and manage OT security platforms (Armis, Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos, etc.)
- Perform asset discovery, risk analysis, and alert configuration
- Integrate OT telemetry into SOC/MDR workflows
- Support Active Directory integration and access controls in OT environments
- Assist with incident response, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, OT, or ICS environments
- Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLCs, and industrial protocols
- Experience with OT security platforms (Armis or similar)
- Background integrating tools with SOC/MDR environments
- Strong experience with Active Directory
- Solid understanding of IT/OT segmentation and associated security risks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within utilities or critical infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with NIST CSF or CIS Controls
- Relevant certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, or GCIA
Salary : $50 - $58
