IT Help Desk Specialist (Windows, macOS & Endpoint Management)
Location: Washington, DC (100% Onsite)
Position Type: Long-Term Federal Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional After-Hours Support Required)
CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Specialist to support a secure federal enterprise environment in Washington, DC. This is a 100% onsite, long-term contract supporting mission-critical IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier II/Tier III desktop support for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software
- Deploy and manage enterprise endpoints using Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Ivanti, or KACE
- Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Perform imaging, software deployment, patch management, and endpoint administration
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, authentication, and performance issues
- Document technical solutions and support procedures
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity teams
- Deliver excellent customer service while supporting end users
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise Windows and macOS environments
- Active Security Clearance
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Ivanti, KACE, or similar endpoint management tools
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and MFA
- Knowledge of desktop imaging, software deployment, and patch management
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA Security
- Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification
- Apple Certified IT Professional
- AWS Cloud certification
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation, including FBI fingerprinting and criminal history screening
- Strong communication skills and professionalism are essential, as this position provides direct support to end users in a secure federal environment.
