About the Opportunity
CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Security Architect / ERP Governance Lead to support a large-scale enterprise ERP environment that serves thousands of users across finance, human resources, payroll, procurement, and related business functions.
This role is ideal for a senior-level professional who combines deep PeopleSoft technical expertise with enterprise security governance, identity and access management, compliance, and operational leadership. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor responsible for securing mission-critical ERP applications while ensuring compliance, scalability, and operational excellence.
You will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, auditors, security organizations, and third-party service providers to design and maintain a secure, compliant, and highly available enterprise application environment.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Security Architecture & Governance
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models.
Establish and enforce least-privilege access standards across ERP platforms.
Develop and maintain Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks and controls.
Perform security reviews of application enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.
Evaluate security impacts of business process changes and system modifications.
Lead access governance initiatives, user access reviews, and certification processes.
Develop and maintain ERP security policies, standards, and procedures.
Identity & Access Management
Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access lifecycle processes.
Oversee privileged account management and access control administration.
Support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies.
Secure integrations utilizing:
SAML
OAuth 2.0
OpenID Connect (OIDC)
SCIM
REST APIs
Enterprise Identity Providers (IdPs)
Security Monitoring & Incident Response
Monitor authentication, authorization, and privileged access activities.
Investigate security incidents involving unauthorized access, account compromise, and policy violations.
Partner with cybersecurity teams to assess threats and implement remediation plans.
Support security audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
Enterprise Application Support
Provide advanced support for complex ERP production issues.
Analyze and resolve application security and configuration challenges.
Participate in major incident management and root-cause analysis activities.
Support application upgrades, patching, testing, and deployment initiatives.
Participate in disaster recovery exercises and business continuity planning.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, auditors, and technical teams.
Develop strategic roadmaps for ERP security and governance improvements.
Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on risk reduction and operational efficiency.
Provide executive-level presentations and recommendations.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across projects.
Required Qualifications
ERP & PeopleSoft Experience
10 years of experience supporting enterprise ERP platforms.
10 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM and/or HCM.
Extensive experience supporting complex, highly integrated PeopleSoft environments.
Deep understanding of enterprise application security administration and governance.
