REVENUE CYCLE ANALYST
The Revenue Cycle Analyst ensures accurate reimbursement by analyzing, reconciling, and repricing medical claims in accordance with payer contracts and fee schedules. This role directly supports revenue integrity by identifying discrepancies, resolving payment variances, and safeguarding the accuracy of client financial data. Success is defined by improved reimbursement accuracy, reduced variance trends, and strict compliance with healthcare data privacy standards.
Location Dallas–Fort Worth, TX | Remote (MUST reside in DFW area)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $19.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Full-time, Direct Hire (W2)
• Start date: ASAP
• Identify errors in reconciliation files across multiple workstreams, business units, and external partners
• Perform contract and reimbursement variance analysis; review and reprice claims based on payer contracts and fee schedules
• Process and adjust claims in alignment with contracted guidelines and repricing outcomes
• Analyze trends in payment and data variances; collaborate with Product and Account Management teams to support revenue optimization
• Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records, PHI (Protected Health Information), and PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in claims analysis and medical claim repricing
• Knowledge of payer contracts, fee schedules, and reimbursement methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies and interpret financial/claims data
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Claims management and adjudication systems
• Contract management and reimbursement platforms
• Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reconciliation, reporting)
• Healthcare revenue cycle systems and reporting databases
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with trend analysis and payment variance reporting
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and data privacy regulations
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
