Call Center Medical Appointment Scheduler

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18.50/hour
• Full-time | Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (shifts may vary)
• W2 employment
• Immediate start available
ROLE IMPACT
As a Call Center Medical Appointment Scheduler, you’ll be on the front lines of patient access—handling appointment coordination, insurance details, and high-volume communication with accuracy and empathy. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience for every patient seeking diagnostic services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Schedule imaging appointments across multiple locations and modalities
• Accurately input patient information, insurance data, and billing details
• Communicate prep instructions clearly to patients and referring offices
• Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls while managing multiple systems
• Collaborate with clinics and providers to collect necessary documentation and resolve scheduling issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1–3 years of experience in medical scheduling, billing, or patient access
• Call center or high-volume phone environment experience
• 40 WPM typing speed
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Digital scheduling platforms
• Multi-screen data entry software
• Phone/call management systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with multi-site scheduling
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedure prep requirements
• Background in insurance verification or healthcare documentation
