EVENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE / RETAIL BOOTH SALES ASSOCIATE
Location: Fort Worth, TX | Onsite at Will Rogers Memorial Center
Event: Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay Range: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
• Employment Type: Temporary / Project-Based
• Assignment Dates: January 16 – February 7
• Training: One-day session at Dollamur Corporate Office (January 14 or January 15)
• Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week; 9:30 AM–7:00 PM (rotating schedule)
• Weekends are mandatory and the busiest event days
ROLE IMPACT
Join the excitement of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo by representing a premium brand in the equestrian and livestock community. As an Event Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of the client’s booth, driving sales of high-quality stall mats and delivering outstanding customer engagement. This role directly contributes to the event’s success through knowledgeable product promotion and energetic interaction with attendees.
KEY DUTIES
• Staff and operate the exhibitor booth throughout the Stock Show event
• Proactively engage visitors and demonstrate product features and benefits
• Educate customers on designer stall mats and help drive on-site sales
• Represent the brand professionally with enthusiasm and authenticity
• Ensure booth coverage during all event hours, including weekends
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1 year of proven sales or retail experience (event or trade show preferred)
• Confident interacting with equestrian, ranch, or livestock audiences
• Outgoing and personable, with strong communication skills
• Reliable and available for full project duration (January 16–February 7)
• Must attend mandatory one-day training prior to event start
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Onsite event venue with high guest traffic and frequent customer interaction
• Requires standing for extended periods throughout the day
• Indoor and outdoor exposure within event grounds
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Previous experience in trade show or promotional sales
• Familiarity with livestock or equestrian events
• Comfort using POS systems or mobile payment tools
