Customer Care Representative
Location: DFW Airport Business Park, Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (75261) | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $21.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (two 15-minute breaks and one 1-hour lunch)
• W2 | Potential Temp-to-Hire (based on performance and business needs)
• Start date: ASAP
Role Impact
The Customer Care Representative serves as the primary point of contact for external customers renting electronic test and measurement equipment. This role ensures timely resolution of service inquiries, repairs, returns, exchanges, and order discrepancies while maintaining accurate documentation. Success in this position is defined by responsiveness, sound judgment, strong written communication, and the ability to manage high-volume email and call activity in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle and process customer service calls and high-volume shared inbox emails related to equipment rentals
• Document customer interactions, assess needs, and provide final resolution including repairs, returns, exchanges, and equipment un-sells
• Evaluate returned electronic test and measurement equipment and determine proper disposition
• Coordinate return logistics, required documentation, and discrepancy resolution with customers and internal teams
• Provide technical guidance to internal support teams and customers as needed
Minimum Qualifications
• 2 years of experience in a customer support or customer service environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, within a Windows-based environment
• Strong written communication, analytical decision-making, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
