COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay:$34-43/hour BOE
• Monday–Friday | Standard Business Hours (flexibility based on workload)
• W2 | Full-Time
ROLE IMPACT
As a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end loan closing and funding process. Supporting a variety of commercial loan products, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate loan closings and funding with loan officers, credit teams, attorneys, title companies, and third-party vendors
• Process and fund commercial loans in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Review and interpret loan documentation to ensure accurate setup and compliance
• Prepare and maintain complete loan files, ensuring proper documentation and data integrity
• Input and validate loan data within core banking and loan origination systems
• Initiate wires and process funding activities in compliance with bank policies
• Handle loan payments, payoffs, advances, and draw requests accurately and timely
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, including preparing exception reports for follow-up
• Assist with audits, loan reviews, and regulatory compliance processes
• Collaborate across departments and cross-train to support operational continuity
• Support additional projects and operational initiatives as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial loan closing, funding, or administration required
• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation and collateral requirements
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards (FDIC or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Bachelors degree strongly preferred, HS Diploma required

• Loan origination and servicing systems (Finastra LaserPro, Jack Henry Silverlake preferred)
• CT Lien Solutions (preferred)
• Microsoft Office Suite
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with commercial real estate and commercial & industrial loan products
• Familiarity with SBA, construction, and revolving credit structures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
• Experience in high-volume banking or financial operations environments
