Job Title: CNC Machinist (5-Axis) – 2nd Shift
Location: West Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $26 - $27/hr
Schedule:
- Training: 1st Shift, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (for a couple of weeks)
- Regular Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- Overtime available as needed
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with advanced 5-axis experience to support critical machining operations. This role requires a top-tier candidate who can work independently, maintain precision, and uphold high-quality standards. Due to the complexity and importance of the equipment, initial training will be conducted on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC 5-axis machines
- Perform tooling setup and adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure high-quality output
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Work independently during 2nd shift with minimal engineering support
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with CNC machining, specifically 5-axis equipment
- Strong setup and tooling experience
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to complete required training on 1st shift
