Home & Rental Repair Coordinator
Cornerstone Housing Partners is a nonprofit one-stop-shop for sustainable and affordable homeownership. Cornerstone Housing Partners works to educate Vermonters on their finances and the homebuying process and helps them find, buy, and fix their homes with our Lending, Home and Rental Repair, HEAT Squad, and Homeownership services.
Cornerstone Housing Partners is hiring a full-time Home and Rental Repair Coordinator for its repair program(s) serving Addison, Rutland, and Bennington counties. The position is for an individual to help low-income homeowners be safe and healthy in their home and to support homeowner success. The Home and Rental Repair Coordinator is a liaison between homeowners, landlords, contractors and the lending department at Cornerstone Housing Partners. The Coordinator informs and advises property owners about housing repairs and related housing programs; perform site visits and evaluations; prepares reports and budgets; communicates with contractors; provides project coordination; budget tracking; contractor pay-outs and does other work as required.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, active listening and problem-solving abilities.
· Basic home repair knowledge about best practices, materials, systems.
· Able to understand and interpret building and energy codes.
· Strong customer service skills especially with disadvantaged populations.
· Basic math skills needed to manage budgets with attention to details.
· Ability to multi-task, be adaptable, and prioritize assignments in a team environment while being organized and professional.
Qualifications
· Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
· A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel required within Addison, Bennington and Rutland counties, mileage reimbursed.
· Ability to work in the office as well as in the field, visiting homes and projects.
· Able to navigate confined spaces and inspect all areas of homes including attics and basements, and to climb a ladder.
· Experience working with limited-income homeowners a plus, but not required.
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, data entry and the ability to run and analyze reports.
