What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Cornerstone Home Care?

Cornerstone is hiring for Direct Support Professionals (DSP). This is a caregiver trained to provide personal care, habilitative care, respite, chore, and other related services in the home.
Tasks may include: shopping, household cleaning, cooking, assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and more. Other related services may include dietary management, household services essential to maintaining the client's health and well-being, and provision of, and instruction in reporting signs, symptoms, and/or changes in the client's condition. Taking the client to doctor appointments, out for rides or just sitting with them, listening to their stories.
The DSP shall coach/mentor clients in daily goals to assist them in living independently.
This position has the chance to increase to full-time depending on availability.
Must be 18 years old and able to pass a state and federal background check.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
