Cornerstone Health & Wellness Clinic is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Tennessee dedicated to helping adults heal from childhood trauma and life experiences that continue to impact their relationships, emotional health, and overall well-being.

Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – Trauma Therapist
Location: Hybrid (In-Person & Telehealth) | TennesseeJob Type: 1099 Independent Contractor |
Responsibilities
- Provide individual outpatient therapy to adult clients in person and via telehealth.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers and the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Maintain accurate, ethical, and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in clinical supervision as required for licensure.
- Adhere to HIPAA, ethical standards, and clinic policies.
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee LMSW license in good standing.
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor while collaborating effectively with the clinical team.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with training or experience in one or more of the following are strongly encouraged to apply:
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Brainspotting
- Parts Work/Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- Prolonged Exposure (PE)
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Somatic Therapy or Polyvagal-Informed Therapy
Specialized training in EMDR or other trauma-focused modalities is preferred but not required. We welcome clinicians who are passionate about trauma recovery and committed to continued professional growth.
