Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in St. Simons Island, GA, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Mortgage Loan Officer will assist clients in obtaining mortgage loans by evaluating their financial information and determining the best loan product for their needs. Daily responsibilities include originating and processing loan applications, collaborating with underwriting teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations. A focus on providing an exceptional client experience will be key to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role within the mortgage industry
- Strong understanding of Mortgage Lending and Underwriting processes
- Ability to deliver exceptional Customer Service and build lasting client relationships
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in financial software and loan origination systems
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional certification in finance, business, or a related field is a plus
