Your Opportunity, Your Team
- The Outbound Transportation Planner supports Cornerstone Brands (Frontgate, Ballard, Grandin Road and Garnet Hill) and its Transportation Operations in a shared services/multi-brand or direct to consumer/ecommerce environment. This environment has an emphasis on large packages, motor freight home delivery. You will report to the Manager of Home Delivery.
- This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our West Chester, OH office, several days per month. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
- You will coordinate shipments with our teams and service providers, including special and one-off requirements, while building strong cross-functional relationships.
- You will monitor, analyze, and communicate logistics performance metrics and operational challenges across multiple facilities and regions, ensuring accurate reporting and issue resolution.
- You will support the manager in establishing Key Performance Indicators for reviewing service provider performance and improving supply chain operations.
- You will address delivery network challenges by responding swiftly to operational issues, ensuring high service levels, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations, transportation, supply chain, analytics, business management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 Years' Experience in Furniture Logistics or Residential Delivery
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with concentration in Excel (can perform complex functions)
