JOB SUMMARY: Primary responsibility is to ensure every shuttle runs on time, every driver feels supported, and every passenger arrives safely and satisfied. The Shuttle Transportation Supervisor will directly shape the reliability of our service, the morale of the transportation team, and the trust our clients place in us. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily shuttle operations, ensuring on-time performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Create and manage driver schedules, adjusting in real time to meet changing demands.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, coordinate with mechanics, and ensure all shuttles are road-ready.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs and performance check-ins with drivers to maintain service quality.
- Respond to operational issues quickly— route changes, weather delays, or vehicle breakdowns.
- Function as a backup driver when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the interior and exterior of vehicles.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and local transportation laws.
- Collaborate with event planners, HR teams, or client coordinators to align shuttle services with specific needs.
- Track and report on key performance metrics such as on-time rates, fuel usage, and customer feedback.
- Perform evaluations of employees to ensure the quality of work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Class B CDL with Passenger (P) Endorsement.
- 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations—supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts under pressure.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and GPS fleet tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a knack for motivating teams.
- A problem-solving mindset—able to think on your feet and adapt quickly.
EDUCATION
FMCSA Regulations completion of one-time, two-hour training.
Continuing education preferred.
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
3-5 Years of leadership experience in leading and developing teams.
3-5 Years experience in start-up operation setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear.
On occasion may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders or lift over 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Travel between multiple facilities including: SSC, SSCW, Culinary, Gateway, BTC, KP1, KP2, CDC
Ability to climb a ladder.
