- The Industrial Engineer will join the engineering team and work with operations to improve customer service and satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and with a focus on cost savings. You will ensure success of engineered labor standards and continuous improvement projects to guide efficiency, quality, safety and support overall business growth. You will work onsite in our West Chester, OH distribution center and report to the Sr. Manager of Engineering.
- This role is onsite and will require you to be onsite in West Chester, OH. Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: OH, IN or KY. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
- Collaborate with Operations to develop labor standards and WMS reporting requirements for our 4 buildings in greater West Chester / Monroe, Ohio and Arizona, using data collection and time study methodologies across multiple locations.
- Lead continuous improvement opportunities (technology, process, material handling) to maximize workflow and spatial utilization.
- Simplify, and standardize end-to-end supply chain process paths and process steps, while concurrently working to close the gap between our processes.
- Develop process documentation and follow these documented procedures.
- Recommend and assess technology to improve efficiency and safety. Develop and present fact-based business cases.
- Oversee and report on capital projects, managing vendor relationships, cross-functional teams, budgets, schedules, and ensuring projects deliver expected benefits.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
- 1 years of experience in a high-volume warehousing environment (distribution or fulfillment).
- Project Management Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions), and Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and AutoCAD
- You will work flexible hours, overtime and weekends when needed and travel to our Arizona facility on occasion
