This role manages internal and external audits, sales tax compliance and audits, property tax filings, treasury operations, and corporate travel program oversight. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities. You will report to the VP Controller.
Where You'll Work
- This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Office in West Chester, OH several days per month. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
- Oversee company treasury functions, including cash flow management, forecasting, and banking relationships
- Ensure proper controls over cash handling, investments, and liquidity management
- Optimize working capital and recommend financial strategies to leadership
- Manage all aspects of internal & external audits, including planning, coordination, and execution
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and regulatory agencies
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Oversee preparation and filing of multi-state sales and property tax returns
- Oversee preparation on state and federal income tax templates
- Manage and respond to sales tax audits, including documentation and negotiation with authorities
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure organizational compliance
- Manage the company’s travel program, including vendor relationships, policy development, and cost controls
- Monitor travel expenditures and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of audit processes, sales tax compliance, and treasury operations
- Experience managing tax audits and multi-jurisdictional filings
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms
