Residential Service Electrician — $55–$65 per Hour

What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair residential electrical problems, including circuit, lighting, outlet, breaker, and panel issues.
- Install and upgrade panels, service equipment, dedicated circuits, lighting, and other residential electrical components.
- Inspect homes for electrical safety concerns, outdated wiring, and grounding deficiencies.
- Explain findings, provide estimates, and help homeowners choose appropriate repair and upgrade options.
- Complete safe, code-compliant work that meets Cornel’s standards for quality and professionalism.
- Support plumbing and HVAC teams on projects requiring electrical work.
- Maintain accurate job notes, photos, and service documentation.
- Keep job sites clean and your vehicle organized and stocked.
What we’re looking for
- Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician license.
- At least five years of residential electrical experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of current Oregon electrical codes.
- Experience working independently in customers’ homes.
- Clear communication with customers, dispatch, and fellow technicians.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Residential home service experience preferred; ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

Physical requirements: regularly lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs, frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching, standing and walking, remaining on your feet for long periods of time, safely climb and work from ladders, frequent overhead reaching.dexterity and fine motor skills required.
