RESPONSIBILITIES:
Typical Day in the Role:
Purpose of the Team:
- On the WW Surface Category team, you will contribute at an integral level to ensure we develop & execute the optimal promotional strategies WW. In this role, you will also take on the optimization and measurement of our promotional strategies and provide data driven feedback on adjustments needed. You will have the creativity to create reports that help our field teams further understand their business outcomes. Identify areas of opportunity and create tools that eliminate redundancies or complexities in the day-to-day business
- Handling ad hoc data requests and providing detailed data insights
- Working independently on data projects, including mapping data cubes and interpreting data
- Developing Power BI dashboards as needed
- Simplifying complex data and storytelling through PowerPoint presentations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Years of Experience Required: At least 2-4 overall years of experience in the field
- Degrees or Certifications Required: A Bachelor's degree in data science, data analytics, or a related field -PMI or PMP certification preferred
- Disqualifiers: Candidates must have advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel → Role is remote but must be within 50 miles of the office location, but the primary requirement is to work in the PST time zone
- Best vs. Average:
- Ability to work independently.
- Advance Data skills (A major PLUS)
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including finance, engineering, and product marketing teams
- Effective communication and storytelling skills to simplify complex data
- Experience in consumer sales or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Prior experience with Microsoft is a nice-to-have
- Ability to highlight past projects and provide work samples
- Business Performance reporting (tights with EXCEL, POWERBI, SQL)

- Proven experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills: Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, If Functions
- Financial acumen and ROI measurement
- Advanced PowerPoint Skills
- Ability to transform #s into story telling through visual
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on ability to work fast paced environment and quality of work
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Power BI
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with advance Excel (the ability to dig into data and generate insights)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with category fields, specifically consumer sales (This experience can help candidates onboard faster and better understand the business context, as the team works on selling consumer products like Surface laptops)
