HR Department Coordinator
Remote in CA (tied to Sacramento, CA 95833)
- Schedule: Remote | Day shift (8/40) | 6 month assignment | Non-clinical
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

SUMMARY/DUTIES:
- Provides administrative and clerical support to a non-clinical HR unit within a healthcare organization
- Responsibilities include managing and prioritizing incoming requests, coordinating documentation, supporting departmental workflows, and ensuring timely communication with staff and providers
- Maintains compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to privacy and data handling
- Supports daily operations through scheduling, data entry, and document management
- May assist with onboarding and orienting new team members
- This role requires strong organization, independent work capability in a remote setting, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years’ experience in administrative or clerical support within HR or healthcare setting
- Experience with prioritizing high-volume requests and managing competing deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and healthcare stakeholders
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations (HIPAA or similar)
- Experience with data entry, document management, and general administrative workflows
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday or similar HCM platforms
- Experience supporting a healthcare organization or large enterprise environment
- Familiarity with onboarding or orienting new staff
- Experience supporting physician relations or provider services teams
- Proficiency in process improvement or workflow coordination
- Experience working in a matrixed or corporate support structure
