What You Get To Do:
Change the lives of those in your care! The Program Supervisor, Community Corrections is responsible for the administration of the Program Department. They develop, implement and review in-house program activities for the offender population.
- Provide information, required reports and communications to contracting agencies, directors, managers, co-workers and employees and other external sources as required.
- Review reports and documents prior to distribution to ensure accuracy, adherence to policies and procedures, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Participate in the review, development and implementation of the policy and procedure manual for all contracts.
- Assist in drafting responses to contracting agencies following inspections and audits with specific action plans.
- Participates in quality control plan reviews, and develops and oversees action plans to achieve result-oriented actions.
- Oversee the department’s operational budget, develops budget recommendations for capital outlays, staffing, equipment and material.
- Analyze department operations to determine areas of potential cost reduction and program improvement.
- Select and assign staff in hiring, promotion and other employment practices; identifies staff development needs and ensures that training is provided.
- Ensure mandatory training, per contractual requirements, are completed within the requisite fiscal year.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
