Pleasant View Day Program is a community-based adult day program dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities in building independence, confidence, life skills, and meaningful connections. We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and upbeat Direct Support Staff to join our team!About the RoleDirect Support Staff play a key role in helping participants engage in their community, develop skills, and enjoy fulfilling daily experiences. This position works hands-on with participants providing support, encouragement, supervision, and assistance with daily activities.Responsibilities Include:Providing direct support and supervision to participants during daily program activitiesAssisting with community outings, skill-building activities, and recreational programmingPromoting independence, dignity, safety, and respect at all timesSupporting behavioral plans and positive behavior techniques (training provided)Assisting with personal care support as needed (may vary by individual)Helping maintain a positive, structured, and supportive environmentCompleting basic documentation and daily notesWe’re Looking For Someone Who Is:Caring, patient, and passionate about helping othersDependable and responsible with strong communication skillsAble to remain calm, positive, and professionalA team player who also works well independentlyRequirements:Must be 18 Must be able to pass background clearanceValid driver’s license and clean driving record preferredCPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
