Salary:
Seeking an IT Project Manager for a long term contract (12 month minimum) opportunity located in Columbia, SC. This will be a hybrid opportunity with an in office element 3x a week.
What You Will Do In This Role:
- Lead several projects (one to five) in a strong matrix environment executing Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
- Developing and monitoring project plans, communication plans, risk management plans, and project artifacts from project initiation to post implementation/closure.
- Ensures project deliverables are complete on time, on budget, within scope,
- Responsible daily for the development, execution, and maintenance of project plans and project communications
- Facilitating effective communications between all parties involved in the project, including meetings, correspondence/recaps, status reports and other project artifacts.
- Monitors resource requirements and assign deliverables based on project specifications.
- Ensures resources are assigned to meet project objectives while managing project hours budgeted.
- Identifies and manages tasks and issues that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort to ensure delivery as planned.
- Provides both written and verbal project status updates upon request.
Required Work Experience:
- 3 years IT experience in a leadership capacity on one or more project teams.
Required Technologies:
- Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams, etc.), Jira, Azure Boards, SDLC, Agile
About The Team:The Project Manager will report to a Portfolio Manager with a team of 8 - 10 Project Managers. Most project teams will range between 8 - 20 team members. This team supports various portfolios including Data Exchange, Telephony, Mobile/Full Site, and AEM.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associates degree in any major.
