Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to increase revenue and market penetration throughout the West Coast territory.
- Manage and grow relationships with distributors, OEMs, EPC firms, contractors, and end-user clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand upon existing accounts by leveraging market insights and technical product knowledge.
- Deliver technical product presentations, conduct training sessions, and provide application support to clients and partners.
- Drive specification efforts by engaging with consulting engineers and decision-makers within target markets.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and operations teams internally to ensure delivery of effective solutions.
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, territory reports, and maintain updated CRM records.
- Travel extensively (50–70%) across assigned states to maintain client relations and develop new business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial B2B sales experience, ideally involving valves, actuators, flow control, or similar technical products.
- Strong knowledge of industrial markets and channel sales strategies.
- Proven success managing large geographic territories effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and application requirements.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
- Experience selling flow control, process control, automation products, or mechanical systems is advantageous.
- Existing connections within West Coast industrial markets and experience navigating distribution networks are a plus.
Salary : $150,000
