Job Summary

This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical systems critical to our mining operations. As a key leader, you will supervise a team and coordinate with various operational departments to maintain continuous production and uphold the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and control the safe and efficient operation of the electrical maintenance work unit through subordinate supervisors.
• Ensure the ongoing operation of production shifts by executing maintenance schedules and supporting production plans.
• Provide operational input for maintenance planning and collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Safety, and Environmental.
• Inspect work units regularly to ensure schedules, safety protocols, and objectives are met.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Lead and develop a team of first-line supervisors, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve day-to-day technical and operational issues related to electrical equipment, materials, and procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED with at least 7 years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead roles, OR a Bachelor's degree in a technical mining-related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proven knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to electrical systems and equipment.
• Experience in budget preparation, monitoring, and administration.
