Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and control the safe and efficient operation of the electrical maintenance work unit through subordinate supervisors.
- Ensure the ongoing operation of production shifts by executing maintenance schedules and supporting production plans.
- Provide operational input for maintenance planning and collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Safety, and Environmental.
- Inspect work units regularly to ensure schedules, safety protocols, and objectives are met.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Lead and develop a team of first-line supervisors, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Resolve day-to-day technical and operational issues related to electrical equipment, materials, and procedures.
- High School diploma or GED with at least 7 years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead roles, OR a Bachelor's degree in a technical mining-related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to electrical systems and equipment.
- Experience in budget preparation, monitoring, and administration.
