Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain identity management systems, server operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Manage Azure Portal / M365 administration, including Azure, Entra, Exchange, Intune, and OneDrive.
- Develop automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell, Orchestrator, or Ansible to streamline operations.
- Oversee identity management and domain administration tasks, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Analyze system logs to identify issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Handle escalations and troubleshoot complex Tier 3 issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Collaborate with communications, business systems, and desktop support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Create comprehensive support documentation and assist in training team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 15 years of total IT experience, with at least 10 years in Windows Active Directory management.
- Extensive experience (10 years) with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Orchestrator.
- At least 7 years of experience analyzing system logs, troubleshooting, and trend analysis.
- Proven expertise (7 years) with vSphere or Azure hypervisors in large, multi-site environments.
- At least 5 years of experience working with data formats like XML, JSON, YAML, or WQL.
- Strong knowledge of messaging administration, archiving, patch management, and systems monitoring tools (e.g., SCCM, Ivanti, SCOM, SolarWinds, Azure Arc).
- Technical certifications are preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel as needed.
