I&C Project Manager

Job Summary

This pivotal role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with all technical and safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and proven leadership to drive project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project buy-out process, including bid packages, RFPs, contracts, scopes of work, and work orders.
• Collaborate with superintendents to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Work with design teams to review plans, resolve design clashes, and ensure project alignment.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
• Proficiently work with control and measurement instruments on existing or new plant equipment, troubleshooting process control systems such as control valves, flow meters, sensors, actuators, and leak switches.
• Support controls group in troubleshooting, upgrading, and installing systems by interpreting manuals, circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with low voltage systems such as building automation, security, and data communication networks.
• Interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and P&IDs for installation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment, process skids, and manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure project specifications are met and safety standards are upheld.
  
  

Requirements

• 5 years of experience specializing in low voltage and controls systems, including Life Safety Systems (HAZMAT).
• 10 years of experience managing construction projects in large industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&ID diagrams, including motor controls, drives, and electronic components.
• Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems from 24VDC to 480VAC.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, P6, and tools like Excel and AutoCAD.
• OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA) and best practices.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and blueprints effectively.
