What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Core Dermatology?
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week)
We are a small physician-owned, private dermatology practice looking to grow our office with friendly, warm team members who embody a strong work ethic, accountability, who are service-oriented, energetic, and have the willingness to learn and acquire new knowledge.
We are looking for an experienced medical scribe to work with general and medical dermatology, including Mohs and cosmetic/procedural dermatology.
We are looking for a strong candidate with these qualities to join our cohesive team:
- Support physicians and other team members in the practice
- Rooming patients
- Charting/scribing
- Assisting in procedures
- Answering phones/calling patients
- Communicating pathology and lab reports
- Remain current on all aspects of dermatology and skin care
- EHR experience is preferred (we use EMA), but computer savvy will do
