Cordial Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are a leading healthcare organization providing comprehensive mental health services out a private practice in Yonkers, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PMHNP who is passionate and committed to improving the mental health and well-being of individuals, across the life span of 18 .

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of elderly patients.
  
• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's mental health needs.
  
• Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
  
• Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families.
  
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  
• Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.

Compensation:

Salary; Annual range of: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 negotiable

Work Location: In person

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York with specialization in Psychiatry (PMHNP).
  
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload of patients.
  
• Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
