Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Accounting team across AP, AR, payroll, job costing, and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze multi-entity financial statements and performance metrics.
- Maintain and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and banking protocols.
- Oversee payroll reporting and multi-jurisdictional tax/license compliance.
- Support capital investment decisions, insurance, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Drive process improvements and digital transformation within the department.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10 years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting and with a general contractor.
- CPA certification or eligibility strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Expertise in Sage 300 / Timberline and Textura payment systems a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, paperless environment.
