Accounts Payable/Receivable

Coppus Motors is looking for a professional and motivated person to join our team. We are a third generation, locally owned automotive retail store since 1927. We currently sell Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Mercedes-Benz, and Sprinter vehicles.

The accounts payable/receivable position is an integral role in maintaining accurate financial records. Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for paying and keeping record of invoices
• Maintain precise records of vendor payments
• Keep track of all company credit card spending, and make payments on credit accounts
• Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments in a timely manner
• Send customers and vendors their monthly statement
• Ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Operate and reconcile a cash drawer, accurately processing transactions and handling cash, credit, and check payments
• Answer phone calls to take over the phone payments
• Close service repair orders and parts invoices after payment has been made
• File customer repair orders numerically by VIN number and alphabetically by customer name
• Answer operator phone calls and transfer the call to the appropriate department
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the customer experience
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash and credit transactions
• Knowledge of debits and credits in corporate accounting
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong and positive communication skills, including excellent listening skills
• Friendly and courteous demeanor, with a focus on exceptional customer service
• Develop and maintain positive vendor relationships
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with different technologies and a willingness to learn and adapt to changes
• High level of professionalism and integrity

This full-time position includes:

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
