Job Description
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule to balance customer demand, inventory targets, and capacity constraints. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to ensure service, cost, and inventory objectives are met while supporting S&OE/SIOP processes.
As a Master Scheduler, You Will
This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.

Job Description
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule to balance customer demand, inventory targets, and capacity constraints. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to ensure service, cost, and inventory objectives are met while supporting S&OE/SIOP processes.
As a Master Scheduler, You Will
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory policies.
- Translate demand plans into executable production plans while considering capacity, material availability, and lead times.
- Analyze and resolve schedule conflicts, shortage, and constraints.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure feasible production plans.
- Monitor and adjust schedules in response to demand changes, supply disruptions, or capacity issues.
- Support S&OE/SIOP meetings by providing schedule scenarios, risks, and recommendations.
- Track and report key KPI’s such as schedule adherence, service level, and backlog.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, process efficiency, and system utilization.
- Ensure compliance with planning policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
- Strong understanding of MRP and demand planning concepts.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical thinking and scenario planning
- Attention to detail with a big-picture mindset
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
