Job Description
Join our team as a Lab Planner, working closely alongside the Lab Scheduler. In this role, you will utilize various software systems, such as Smartsheets, to effectively manage and manipulate schedules. You will need to maintain a comprehensive view of lab operations, field requests from teams, and make informed decisions regarding project commitments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lab Scheduler to manage and organize lab schedules.
- Utilize scheduling software like Smartsheets to adjust and maintain schedules.
- Evaluate lab operations and field team requests to determine project feasibility.
- Engage in project management tasks as they relate to scheduling.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to move project pieces and manage test plans.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and communicate these to Lab Managers and the Lab Scheduler.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Smartsheets.
- Strong ability to see the bigger picture in lab operations.
- Effective communication skills for discussing scheduling commitments and conflicts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering knowledge with an interest in scheduling.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Waukesha, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
