We are seeing a seismic shift in how people connect. AI is rapidly becoming a companion, advisor, and intermediary in everyday life. One-third of U.S. adults have already used an AI chatbot, many interact with AI daily, and younger generations are increasingly open to turning to AI for emotionally sensitive conversations. At the same time, we are facing a deeper social crisis. Nearly half of U.S. adults report experiencing loneliness, and many worry that technology may further distance us from real human relationships.
We believe the next generation of technology should strengthen human connection, not replace it.
CoPatible is building an AI-native social connection platform that helps people navigate life transitions through curated, real-world experiences. As the AI mental health and human connection space continues to grow, we are creating products that use AI to foster deeper relationships and meaningful in-person connection.
We are looking for a COO / Co-Founder to help build this from the ground up.
About the role
As COO / Co-Founder, you will turn vision into scale. You will lead growth, operations, partnerships, and go-to-market while helping shape the company’s early trajectory.
The founding team brings strong product and technical leadership. We are looking for a partner who complements that with execution in distribution, growth, operations, and real-world activation.
What you’ll own
• Lead growth and distribution strategy, focused on early traction and network effects• Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention for a consumer product• Build and manage partnerships with venues, vendors, and experience providers• Oversee day-to-day operations and translate strategy into repeatable systems• Work closely with the founding team on go-to-market and fundraising readiness• Design and execute in-person activations and community-building efforts• Talk directly to users and turn insight into product and operational decisions• Represent CoPatible externally in partnerships, events, and growth conversations
Who we’re looking for
• Founder-minded operator who wants to build a company, not just hold a title• Experience in consumer growth, partnerships, operations, or community-led GTM• Highly social and energized by talking to users and building relationships• Able to operate both strategically and hands-on• Strong communicator comfortable representing the company externally• High ownership, urgency, and comfort with ambiguity• Mission-aligned with building products that support human connection and social well-being• Prior startup or founder experience strongly preferred

Compensation
• Equity-only role to start, with the intention to transition to salary post-funding• True co-founder ownership and upside
