We are looking to hire a Psychiatric RN at our Mesa Outpatient Integrated Treatment Center working with adult SMI.
We’re looking for someone with the following skills, experience and credentials:
Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program with licensure by the Arizona Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Licensures: Registered Professional Nurse.
Relevant Work Experience: One year prior psychiatric or behavioral health experience with adults with serious mental illnesses or children or adolescents with serious emotional disturbances or developmentally disabled. Community based experience preferred.

We are looking to hire a Psychiatric RN at our Mesa Outpatient Integrated Treatment Center working with adult SMI.
We’re looking for someone with the following skills, experience and credentials:
- Assesses and documents pertinent consumer information.
- Plans consumer treatment.
- Intervenes psychotherapeutically, psycho pharmacologically, physiologically.
- Provides consumer education demonstrating knowledge of adult psychiatric treatment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of co-occurring treatment.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment.
- Manages pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
- Documents all activities in the clinical record according to policy using approved forms.
- Practices according to evidence-based practices and DBHS Performance Improvement Protocols and Technical Assistance Documents as posted on DBHS web site.
- Practices according to the recovery model and Arnold v. Sarn principles; knows and practices engagement skills including motivational interviewing; and assists consumers to define and achieve their own recovery goals.
- Identifies potential barriers to quality care and opportunities for improvement and reports them to Lead Nurse.
- Participates in UM and QI activities as required.
- To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.
