Job Responsibilities
- Regulatory Oversight: Manage and update all aspects of the nursing program to ensure strict compliance with BVNPT regulations and state requirements; prepare self-studies, surveys, and site visit reports
- Clinical Partnership Management: Develop and maintain educational partnerships with clinical sites; conduct thorough risk, hazard, and safety assessments for all student rotations
- Administrative Leadership: Oversee the student admission process, orientation, and graduation audits; ensure all students meet documentation requirements for licensing exams
- Faculty Management: Lead faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation; facilitate regular meetings and manage the scheduling of faculty for classroom and clinical instruction
- Instructional Quality: Monitor the quality of instruction through regular evaluations and strategic planning; participate in the development of program policies and procedures
- Active Instruction: Maintain a 50% teaching load, delivering core nursing theory and/or clinical supervision to students
- Committee Engagement: Plan and implement Nursing Advisory Committee meetings and lead various internal academic committees
- Student Advising: Provide dedicated support, planning assistance, and academic advising to both potential and current nursing students
Education & Licensing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is REQUIRED (Higher degree preferred)
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California is REQUIRED
- Must have completed approved coursework in Administration, Teaching, and Curriculum Development
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an RN is REQUIRED
- Teaching Experience: Minimum of one (1) year in teaching or clinical supervision within a state-approved nursing program (within the last 5 years)
- Alternative Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in nursing administration or nursing education within the last five years
- Strong working knowledge of State rules and regulations as they relate to the practice of Vocational Nursing
- Proven ability to develop and maintain high-level educational partnerships
- Excellent technical writing skills for state board reporting and proposals

Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
