CooperDouglas is partnering with a well-established, multi-entity organization to hire a Corporate Accounting Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function. This role reports into senior accounting leadership and will oversee a team while driving accuracy, consistency, and process improvement across the close and reporting cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise staff accountants ensuring quality, timeliness, and accountability across deliverables
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes for assigned entities, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages
- Oversee intercompany activity and ensure proper accounting across multiple entities
- Support audit process, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors
- Review financial statements and reporting outputs for accuracy and compliance with internal policies
- Partner cross-functionally with operational teams to support financial reporting and resolve accounting issues
- Assist in review of tax filings and audited financials in coordination with external advisors
- Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Analyze financial data and prepare ad hoc reporting to support leadership decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Experience in corporate or multi-entity environments; real estate exposure is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP, close processes, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Yardi is a huge plus!
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Compensation up to $145,000 bonus
Salary : $115,000 - $145,000
